HMC Group Solutions' 100% online silica awareness course is designed to give participants and overview of: 

• Crystalline silica containing products 
• The relevant legislation, guidelines and standards
• The consequences, hazards and risks to health due to exposure
• Exposure standards
• Safety Data Sheets
• Hierarchy of Controls
• Systems for prevention of exposure
• Risk assessments and hazard prevention.

Participants must:

• Have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic devices with access to the internet to complete the online studies.
• Language, literacy and numeracy requirements - students must be able to read and correctly interpret required documentation / training materials relevant to silica awareness. Additionally, the student will be required to type short answer responses and answer mulitple choice questions. 

100% Online Training - (minimum duration 30 minutes)

This course is a non-accredited course, Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete written assessment tasks.

Upon successful completion of the online course, students will be issued with a certification of completion for silica awareness training. The certificate is issued by HMC Group Solutions.
