ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Participants must be 16 years and over
Participants must have:
- the physical capacity to be able to meet the demands of the practical skills demonstration including the physical capacity to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor
- sufficient English language, literacy, numeracy and visual interpretation skills to successfully complete the course
- a Unique Student Identifier (USI) Number is required prior to enrolments being processed. To obtain a USI number, please go to www.usi.gov.au to register

COURSE DURATION
Blended delivery - 2 hours Face-to-Face (minimum) Training and Assessment plus 1 hour online pre-course study to be completed before attending the face to face course
Or
Online delivery - 3 hours self paced online Learning and Assessment plus 15 minutes (minimum) Face-to-Face Practical Assessment
ASSESSMENT REQUIREMENTS
This course is delivered and assessed in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and includes the ability to:
- performed at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor
